SSIAP Level 1 and SSIAP Level 2 agents
Our agents have completed a mandatory training course: the Fire Safety and Personal Assistance Service diploma, or SSIAP.
This is a highly regulated training program, based on several codes and legislative decrees. This training can take place at three distinct levels:
– SSIAP 1: Fire safety officer.
– SSIAP 2: opens up access to fire safety team leader positions.
– SSIAP 3: leads to the position of Head of Department.
At Securipro International, we have Level 1 and Level 2 agents.
SSIAP Level 1 agents have acquired the essential knowledge to respond to fires and their consequences. They will implement the necessary measures to assist people by enforcing instructions. They are proficient in technical installations and fire safety. This means they can maintain and check equipment, read and handle signage, call emergency services, and organize patrols.
SSIAP 2 complements the initial training to become a team leader. This additional training enables agents to manage a central position in crisis situations, i.e., to manage a team while ensuring that instructions are followed. These level 2 agents report to the authorities when necessary. They are responsible for training level 1 agents and testing their knowledge.
